Mr. Jimmy Wayne Patterson, 76, of Union City passed away 11:03 a.m. Tuesday, August 11, 2020, at Diversicare of Martin.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Friday.

Jimmy was born October 23, 1943, in McNairy County, son of the late Johnny and Ellen Patterson. He married Judy (Little) Patterson January 2, 1988. She survives. Jimmy had served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and had been employed as a tire builder at the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company.

He is also survived by two daughters, Stacey Alexander (Jason) of Benton, Kentucky and Sandra Smith of Rives; five grandchildren, Brendon King (Anahi) and Aubrye King all of Union City, Spencer Sterling of Jackson and Austin Alexander and Harlee Alexander both of Benton, Kentucky; two sisters, Norma Butler of Humboldt and Sue Harris of Trenton; and three brothers, Alton Patterson of Florida and Montie Patterson and Joe Evan Patterson both of Humboldt.

He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Stacy Dawn Sterling; and one granddaughter, Seaira Sterling.
