Mr. Jimmy Dale Lunsford, 76, of Hornbeak passed away 5:23 p.m. Friday, March 3, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Robert Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow in Hickman City Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be John Biggers, James Beasley, Guy Hardin and Frank Roberson.
Honorary pallbearer will be Van Cole.
Jimmy was born June 1, 1940, in Hickman, Kentucky, son of the late Charles W. "Jack" and Nell Lee (Provow) Lunsford. He married Frances (Boyd) Lunsford April 12, 1987. She survives. Jimmy retired from the Tennessee State Parks Service after 19 years of service. He owned and operated a lawn mowing service for 15 years. Jimmy was a member of Hornbeak Baptist Church.
He is also survived by four stepdaughters, Anna, Debbie, Rochelle and Lori; three stepsons, Danny, Stacy and Timothy; one sister, Peggy Hines of Washington State; and several step grandchildren; step great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by five brothers, Harold Lunsford, Edward Lunsford, Bobby Lunsford, Charles Lunsford and Billy Lunsford.
