Mr. Jimmy Craig, 44, of Rives died suddenly Sunday, July 28, 2013, in the emergency room at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.
Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Alamo Cemetery near Rives. Brother Ed Decker will officiate.
The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Pritchard, Joey Davis, Bill Wall, Ted Barnett, Dale Woodward and Matthew Brooks.
Jimmy was born February 24, 1969, in Union City, son of Bob Craig of Trenton and Kay (Sanders) Craig Hill of Union City. He married Lisa (Brooks) Craig June 1, 1990. She survives. He was employed at Titan Tire in Union City and had been employed at the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. Jimmy served in the United States Navy during the Persian Gulf War and was a member of Mt. Pelia Baptist Church.
He is also survived by three children, Justin Craig, Andrea Craig and Alexis Craig all of Rives; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Tim and Pam Craig of Joelton, Devin and Tina Craig of Union City and Kevin and Danielle Craig of Dallas, Texas; his step father, Wesley T. Hill of Union City; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, John "Sam" and Doris Brooks of Rives; and several uncles and aunts.
