James Wendell "Jim" Patey, Jr., 66, of Union City passed away Monday morning, June 1, 2020, at his home.

There will be no services. Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.

Jim was born October 3, 1953, in Fulton County, Kentucky, son of the late James Wendell Patey, Sr. and the late Lillian Vera (Johnson) Patey. He had been employed as a supervisor with the United States Corps of Engineers in Memphis.

He is survived by one daughter, Lanea Patey of Memphis; and two sisters, Jo Linda Patey and Susan Siglow both of Union City.

He was also preceded in death by one son, Steven Wayne Patey.
