Mr. Jim Morris, 74, of Troy passed away 9:00 a.m. Monday, June 1, 2026, at his home.

There will be no services. Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.

Jim was born June 3, 1951, in Caruthersville, Missouri, son of the late Ligie and Rosie Lee (Knott) Morris. He worked for Tyson Foods.

He is survived by two sons, Jimmy Morris of Obion and Michael (Christy) Morris of Nashville; one daughter, Kelly Simpson of Trimble; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two brothers, Lee (Shelia) Morris and Joe Morris all of Troy; and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his sister, Helen Rose Jones.
