James Gailen "Jim" Kincade, 79, of Union City passed away 8:10 p.m. Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Continue Care Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be private.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Jim was born January 24, 1943, in Broseley, Missouri, son of the late James Lonzo and Geneva Mae (Thacker) Kincade. He married Anne (Jenney) Kincade May 27, 1967. She survives. Jim served in the United States Navy on the U.S.S. Lester where he was named seaman of the year two out of his four years of service. He built and repaired grain bins for a living. Jim enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Hickman Country Club where he was an avid golfer.
He is also survived by one daughter, Carla Moore of Newbern; one son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Nicole Kincade of Union City; three grandchildren, Nathan Moore and his wife Olivia of Knoxville and Katelyn Kincade and Kacey Kincade both of Troy; one sister, Rhonda Kincade of Union City; two brothers, Rick Kincade of Pulaski and Randy Kincade and wife Mary of Union City; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Joyce Tipton; and his son-in-law, Terry Moore.
