James Franklin "Jim" Holloway, 81, of Obion passed away 12:21 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at Signature Healthcare of Ridgely.
Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Robert Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services Saturday.
Pallbearers will be Jordan Walden, Brandon Holloway, Kaleb Bruner, Adam Bruner, Todd Winchester and Daryl King.
Jim was born May 23, 1941, in Obion County, son of the late Herman and Virginia (Phillips) Holloway. He married Ramona (Bullion) Holloway May 21, 1961. She survives. Jim retired from the former Reelfoot Packing Company after 25 years of service. He served in the United States Navy and was a member of Hornbeak Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.
He is also survived by one daughter, Mitzi Bruner and husband Kelly of Obion; two sons, Mike Holloway and wife Dorothy of Nashville and Tim Holloway and wife Vanna of Ft. Pierce, Florida; six grandchildren, Kayla Holloway of Ft. Worth, Texas, Jordan Walden and wife Cari Beth of Dyersburg, Rachael Holloway and Brandon Holloway both of West Palm Beach, Florida and Kaleb Bruner and Adam Bruner both of Obion; and two great grandsons, Mason Guy Holloway of Ft. Worth, Texas and Hudson Walden of Dyersburg.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Emily Holloway; and one brother, Vernon Holloway.
