Obituary

Mr. James Edward "Shady Grady", 68, of Union City passed away 12:58 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at Tennova Healthcare - Regional Jackson.

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Jerry Leggett will officiate. Burial will follow in Stanley's Chapel Cemetery near Union City.

Pallbearers will be Hunter Jones, Eddie Finch, Bryan Sawyer, Doug Bradley, Dwayne Burress and Jerry Calhoun

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday.

Jim was born November 6, 1948, in Muskegon, Mi., son of the late Clay and Martha Elizabeth (Pollard) Grady. He worked for Wood Communications, the former Dixie Barn and M & H Garage in Union City. He was also a member of the Obion County Rescue Squad.

He is survived by one daughter, Kim Pair of Hickman; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jamie and Mary Ann Grady of Obion and Shawn and Candice Jackson of Fort Worth, Tx.; two sisters, Betty King and Marie Spicer of Union City; five grandchildren, Courtney Gordon and James Hunter Jones both of Hickman, Haley Grady of Martin, Tyler Grady of Obion and Keylie Jackson of Fort Worth, Tx.; three great grandchildren, Kelly Gordon of Dukedom, Tn., Drake Partick of Hickman and Kinsley Keen of Martin; one niece and two nephews.

He was also preceded in death by two grandchildren, Michael Grady and Paris Jackson.
