Born to James Wesley Davidson, Sr. and Erma Irene (McCune) Davidson, Jim proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps, including a tour in Vietnam. He retired after 34 years of service with Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. He never saw an automobile without wanting to work under it's hood and was adept at repairing them. His talent extended to lawn mowers and most anything with a motor and he generously helped any and all. Those who knew him know what an engaging story teller he was.
He is survived by his wife, Annette (Wilkerson) Davidson, the love of his life with whom he shared life, love, and laughter for 52 years. He will be greatly missed by his three children - son, Tommy Davidson; and daughters, Dawn (Kevin) Younger and Beth (Randy) Molands, all of Union City; five grandchildren, Natalie, Zachary, Kylie, Connor and Miranda; four brothers, Kenneth (Norma) Davidson, Dennis (Renee) Davidson, Donald (Brette) Davidson and Christopher (Denise) Davidson; four sisters, Charladene Yensen, Marilyn Seaman, Jeanette Davidson and Janice Davidson; and his sister-in-law, Linda Bussey Yagello.
