Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Jerry Grimsley, Brother Eddie Powell, Brother David Aton and Brother Chris Aton will officiate. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens .
Pallbearers will be Thomas Watts, Jeff Watts, Jason Watts, Jacob Watts, Luke Watts and Damian Aton.
The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday.
Mrs. Smith was born September 30, 1930, in Hussburg, Tennessee, daughter of the late Elige Porch and Elsie Lillian (Wolverton) Watts. She married Ruben Smith on April 29, 1950. He died April 4, 1994. Mrs. Smith was a member of First United Pentecostal Church in Union City where she was the last surviving charter member. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Cathy and Eddie Powell of Troy and Teresa and Charles Ring of Fulton, Kentucky; two brothers, Frank Watts of Fulton, Kentucky and Kenneth Watts of South Fulton; four grandchildren, Kylie Lyon and Chris Aton both of Troy, Charla Ring of Fulton, Kentucky and David Aton of Bells; and five great-grandchildren, Damian Aton, Phillip Aton and Audrie Lyon all of Troy and Kyle Aton and Jorah Aton both of Bells.
She was preceded in death by her daughter,
Deborah Smith.
