Mr. Jessie Jones, 87, of the Crystal community passed away 2:30 p.m. Sunday, December 6, 2015, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Robert Goodman and Brother Steve Carr will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Manuel Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday.

Pallbearers will be Danny Elks, Jeff Jones, Randy Barnes, Hank Moore, Jamie T. Bullion and Jay Anderson.

Mr. Jones was born March 10, 1928, in Twist, Arkansas, son of the late Felbert and Katie (Busby) Jones. He married Clara Nell (McQueen) Jones August 14, 1955. She died May 7, 2009. Mr. Jones was a retired carpenter for Searcy Building Contractors and was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Gretta and Jimmy Barnes of Trenton; one son and daughter-in-law, Edward J. and Crystal Jones of Obion; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Carol and Jimmy Henderson and Faye and Joe Ben Elliott all of Cayce, Kentucky; one brother and sister-in-law, Billy Joe and Nettie Sue Jones of Hickman, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Chris Barnes and Ron Barnes both of Trenton, Jessica Ward of Union City and Savannah Jones of Bon Aqua; and seven great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Helen Rupert, Barbara Goodman and Betty Macklin; ad three brothers, Dalton Jones, Shorty Jones and Bennie Jones.
