Mr. Jerry Paul Rumley, 84, of Troy passed away 2:38 p.m. Sunday, June 5, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Robert Johnson and Brother Austin Norton will officiate.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until 10: 00 a.m. Tuesday.

Jerry was born March 27, 1938, in Obion County, son of the late Ishmale Paul and Hazel Ailene (Wilbanks) Rumley. He married Marcia Lynnette (Russell) Rumley November 3, 2001. She survives. He retired from the U.S. Navy as a ship service man after 20 years of service. Jerry was a member of Woodmen of the World #196 in Hornbeak and member of Beech Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

He is also survived by one son, Michael Joseph Rumley (Michelle Shaver) of Monroe, Georgia; two daughters, Francesanna Maria Crawford (Raymond) of Clinton, Kentucky and Tammy Lynn Rokita (Michael) of Lemont, Illinois; one sister, Barbara Jean Smiley of Whitehaven, Florida; eleven grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; and two step brothers, Jimmy Starnes of Michigan and Bobby Starnes of Navarre, Florida.

He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Tracey Lee Wilson; one sister, Betty Faye Wiley; and one step brother, Tommy Pruitt.
