Jerry Dell Gray, 83, of Union City passed away Sunday, April 12, 2026, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Ron Gray will officiate. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Gaven Hollandsworth, Andrew Tidwell, Ryan Gray, Ethan Allen, Ryan Harlan and C.J. Williams.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Friday.

Jerry was born October 3, 1942, in Obion County, son of the late Andrew and Mary D. (Council) Gray. He married Charlotte Ann (Cates) Gray March 16, 1979. Jerry had been employed at the former Reelfoot Packing company for many years and was a retired USDA inspector. He served in the United States Army and was a member of the Tennessee division of the Sons of Confederate Veterans.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years Charlotte Gray of Union City; his daughter, Laura Tidwell and husband Steve of Obion; his twin sister, Merry Leip of Union City; four grandchildren, Gaven Hollandsworth of Paris, Amber Harlan and husband Ryan of Pleasant View, Andrew Tidwell and wife Asia of Charlotte and Austen Tidwell who is serving with the United States Air Force in Germany.

He was also preceded in death by his son, Joey Northam; and his brother, Gene Gray.
