Jerry Wayne Fitzgerald, 86, of Troy passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Union City Health & Rehabilitation.

There will be no services.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.

Jerry was born October 31, 1939, in Obion County, son of the late Sidney Clyde and Thelma Opal (Wyatt) Fitzgerald. He married Peggy Joyce (Bullion) Fitzgerald March 10, 1970. She preceded him in death September 16, 2012. Jerry had served in the United States Army and retired from the body shop at Union City Ford.

He is survived by two sons, Wayne Fitzgerald of Union City and Troy Fitzgerald (Laurie) of Obion; and two sisters, Barbara Caughron and Judy Pulley both of Union City.

He was also preceded in death by one sister, Betty Ferguson.
