Mr. Jerald Norman "Jerry" Bondurant, 83, of Union City passed away 11:50 a.m. Tuesday, November 10, 2020, at his home.

Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday at East View Cemetery.  Brother Rick Burton and Brother Mark Green will officiate.

Pallbearers will be family members and friends.

There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the service.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Jerry was born April 9, 1937, in Union City, son of the late James Milton and Josephine Irene (Williams) Bondurant.  He married Carolyn Jean (Kirk) Bondurant August 11, 1961.  She survives.  He was a field engineer for Appleton Electric and veteran of the U.S. Army.  Jerry was also a member of First Baptist Church in Woodland Mills.

He is also survived by one daughter, Jerre McClure of Martin; one son, Shawn Lynn Bondurant of Union City; two stepsons, Manuel Dee Johnson and Daniel Lee Johnson both of Corpus Christi, Tx.; thee grandchildren; six great grandchildren; his niece, Cissy Smith of Lena, Ms.; and one brother, William Bondurant of Sharon.

He was also preceded in death by one sister, Joyce Barber; and three brothers, James R. Bondurant, Don Bondurant and Tommy Bondurant.
