Jenny Burden Rogers, 73, of Union City passed away 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at AHC Union City.

Memorial services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Justin Beard will officiate. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services Friday.

She was born April 19, 1950, in Union City, daughter of Peggy (James) Burden of Obion and the late Emery Earl Burden. Jenny was a retired greeter at Wal Mart in Union City. After retirement she enjoyed taking care of friends and neighbors. Jenny could warm a room filled with people with her precious smile and was dearly loved by her only daughter Ann. She was a sweet spirit who never met a stranger and always had a kind word to share. Jenny was a member of Martin Church of Christ.

She is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Shane Stover of the Minnick community; three grandchildren, Brandon Stover (fiancee' Kaitlyn Dover) of Tiptonville and Morgan Stover and Madison Stover both of the Minnick community; two sisters, Penny Hepler of Union City and Linda Ivy and husband Vic of Jackson; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Toby Lynn Rogers; and her twin sister, Wanda Burden Wade.
