Ms. Jenny Lou Lawrence, 72, of Obion and formerly of Hornbeak passed away 1:01 p.m. Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Archie Larry will officiate. Burial will follow in Graves Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Friday.

Pallbearers will be Harris Pitts, Michael Moore, Isaiah Lafayette, Thomas Dudley, Nick Dial and Adam Campbell.

Jenny was born July 6, 1954, in Union City, daughter of the late Walker and Elsie Marice (Thompson) Harris. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Joseph Lawrence of Murfreesboro; one daughter, Jennifer Vazquez of Compton, California; three grandchildren, Troy Lawrence, Reymundo Vazquez and Ysidro Vazquez; three sisters, Shirley (Mike) Moore, Alice (Jeff Spicer) Hawks and Deloma Pitts all of Hornbeak; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was also preceded in death by one sister, Sharon Gail Whitmore.
