Jeff Gammons, 60, of Union City passed away 6:38 p.m. Thursday, November 2, 2023, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. May Simpson and Cindy McWhorter will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Ararat Cemetery near Troy.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Saturday and from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of services Sunday.

Pallbearers will be Joe Simpson, Jesse Stover, Russell Dawson, Brad Eason, Dennis Dean and Gary Land.

Jeff was born November 13, 1962, in Lake County, son of the late Ed and Kathryn (Klutts) Gammons. He married Lana (Owens) Gammons  April 7, 1994. Jeff had been employed as a truck driver for Obion County Propane and Burch Foods in Newbern. He enjoyed camping, boating and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Lana Gammons of Union City; two daughters, Ashley Bruback and husband Tyler of Collierville and Tabitha Jonas and husband Jonathan of Union City; one son, T.J. Brown and wife Rachel of Troy; his nephew whom he raised as a son, Josh Eaves and wife Kaley of Newbern; seven grandchildren, Finn Bruback, Annie Bruback, Jon Carter Jonas, Aubrey Jonas, Leianna Haggard, Emmalyn Brown and Maggie Eaves; three sisters, Elly Mathis of Troy, Margo Wright and husband Daniel and Joyce Land all of Union City; one brother, Jim Gammons and wife Ruby of Lake St. Charles, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Annette Tucker and Pat Dean; and two brothers, Mickey Gammons and Bob Gammons.
