Obituary

Mrs. Jeannine (Cresson) Bunch, 84, of Martin died 11:50 p.m. Friday, February 7, 2014, at Haws Memorial Nursing Home in Fulton, Kentucky.

Memorial services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Kenneth Richards will officiate.

There will be no visitation.

Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to Red Fern Animal Shelter, 1487 Miles Road, Dresden, Tennessee 38225.

Mrs. Bunch was born March 31, 1929, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Phillier and Mabel (Hoeft) Cresson. She married George Whitaker Bunch December 22, 1997. He died January 1, 2012. Mrs. Bunch had owned a chain of Tony's Mini Pizza Restaurants in the lake country of Wisconsin. She later moved to Florida where she was employed as a home health care giver until her retirement. Mrs. Bunch was of the German Lutheran faith. She attended St. Edwards Catholic Church's bible study class, was a member of the Red Hat Society, the University of Kentucky Extension Homemakers and the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lesa and Jeffrey von Munkwitz-Smith of Brookline, Massachusetts; her niece and her husband, Michelle and Scott Koenings and their children and grandchildren of Lindenhurst, Illinois; her nephew, Joseph Wilson and his children and grandchildren of Las Vegas, Nevada; four step-children, including Denise (Bunch) Moon of Jacksonville, Florida and Andrew Bunch of Murfreesboro, North Carolina.

She was also preceded in death by one sister, Phyllis Wilson; and one brother, Jackson Cresson.
