Myra Jean Wiley, 85, of Troy went home to be with the Lord 3:15 a.m. Saturday September 9, 2023. Jean passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family.

Jean was a devoted wife, mother, and proud grandmother and great grandmother. She loved the Lord and served many years as a Sunday School teacher at her home church of Troy First Baptist Church along with leading her family to know and love the Lord.

Mrs. Wiley was born March 18, 1938, in Obion County, daughter of the late Loraine (Roberson) Graves and Alton Graves. She had been employed as a bookkeeper at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

Jean is survived by her husband of 54 years, Daniel Wiley of Troy; one son and two daughters, Donna Marshall, Gary Rudd (Bethany Walker) and Sheila Alford all of Troy; five grandchildren, Ethan Rudd (Audrea), Austin Rudd (Juliane), Andrew Marshall, and Ashleigh Cooper (Noah) all of Troy and Robby Alford (Rachel) of McLemoresville; five great grandchildren, Oakleigh Rudd, Woodson Rudd, Emma Rudd and Remi Cooper all of Troy and Ranger Alford of McLemoresville.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, J.W. Graves and Harold Graves; one daughter-in-law, Vickie Rudd and one son-in-law, Herb Marshall.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Tony Jones will officiate. Burial will follow in Campground Cemetery near Troy.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Tuesday.

Pallbearers will be Ethan Rudd, Austin Rudd, Robby Alford, Andrew Marshall, Noah Cooper and John Davis.
