Janet Kay Azbell, 70, of Hornbeak passed away 12:00 a.m. Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

Memorial services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 3, 2024, in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Justin Gunnels will officiate.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday, February 3, 2024.

Janet was born February 27, 1953, in Greenfield, Indiana, daughter of the late John Phillip and Thelma Laverne (Minnick) Beasley. She married Danny Ray Azbell in 1984. He preceded her in death July 4, 2008. Janet had been employed as a waitress, was a homemaker and enjoyed doing crafts.

She is survived by one daughter, Dana Beasley of Union City; one son, Chris Beasley of Union City; 9 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her sister, Brenda Gale Lattamore.
