James "Bubba" Stanfill's Obituary
James Archie "Bubba" Stanfill, 68, of Hornbeak passed away 4:50 p.m. Sunday, November 25, 2018, at his home.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Hornbeak City Cemetery. Brother Robert Johnson will officiate.
Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the service.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Stanfill was born April 7, 1950, in Ridgely, son of the late James Edward "Pete" and Elizabeth Jane (Archie) Stanfill. He married Pat (Lofton) Stanfill July 27, 1968. She survives. Bubba retired from the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company as a maintenance mechanic after 28 years of service. He was a member of the Western Sun Masonic Lodge in Troy and was of the Baptist faith.
He is also survived by two daughers, Tammy Stanfill Davis (Robert) of Bartlett and Missy Stanfill Leggett (Tracy) of Union City; three grandchildren, Lyndsey Davis of Bartlett, and Alex Leggett and Bayle Leggett both of Union City; one sister, Betty Jane Lofton (Charles) of Obion; and two nieces, Stefanie Lofton Gill of Collierville and Stacie Lofton Lee of Newbern.
He was also preceded in death by one grandson, Nicholas Leggett; and one brother, Randall Scott "Randy" Stanfill.
