James Vollie Luker, 53, of Union City passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Mt. Ararat Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Brother Johnny Dalton will officiate. Burial will follow in Campground Cemetery.

Friends are asked to meet at the church at service time.

James was born August 14, 1972, in Union City, son of the late James Homer and Shirley Ann (Council) Luker. He was a member of Mt. Ararat Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by one daughter, Santana Luker of Martin; two sisters, Nyanza Luker of Union City and Pam Luker of Martin; three nieces, Kadys Luker, Brooke Bridges and Jessica Luker; three aunts, Carolyn Tidwell of Troy, Joyce Baggett (Gene) of Union City and Vollie Boehms (Ray) of Troy; and several cousins.

He was also preceded in death by his aunts and uncles.
