Mr. James Edward Kennedy, 61, of Union City passed away 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at AHC Union City.

There will be no services. Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.

James was born August 11, 1959, in Columbus, Miss., son of Joe Kennedy of Union City and the late Ellen (Allison) Kennedy.  He worked as a carpenter for many years for Larry Mink.

He is also survived by two daughters, Theresa Kennedy of Clovis, California and Danielle Simmons of Lemoore, California; one son, James Kennedy of Union City; three grandchildren, Ayden Martinez, Kennedy Joyce and Zoey Joyce; two sisters, Corrine Kennedy of Union City and Twila Guiles of Arkansas; and two brothers, Carl Kennedy of Trimble and Johnny Kennedy (Mary Beth) of Troy.

He was also preceded in death by one sister, Jo Ellen Faught.
