Mr. James Riley Douglas, Jr., 66, of Troy passed away 8:45 a.m. Thursday, January 18, 2024, at his home.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

James was born July 18, 1957, in Ft. Myers, Florida, son of the late James Riley Douglas, Sr. and Crystal (McDaniel) Warren.  He married Sherry Ann (Morrow) Douglas July 19, 1985.  She survives.  He worked for Universal Contractors in Union City for 19 years.

He is also survived by one daughter, Michelle Shelton (Zack) of Ohio; two grandchildren, McKenzy Speed and Addy Grace Shelton of Ohio; one great grandchild, Ryn Hoover of Ohio; and two sisters, Roxanne Douglas and Charlene Douglas of Alabama.

He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Tina Douglas and Pat Douglas.
