Mr. James Robert Dickson, 78, of Union City passed away 6:19 p.m. Monday, November 16, 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Terrace Hill Cemetery. Brother Steve Carr will officiate.

There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the service.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Dickson was born June 21, 1942, in Kenton, son of the late Marshall and Mary (Cook) Dickson. He married Carolyn (Ross) Dickson January 13, 1977. She survives. He was maintenance supervisor for Beverly Health Care for many years and member of Sunswept Baptist Church.

He is also survived by three daughters, Lana Gammons (Jeff) of Troy, Pam Williams (Craig) of Joelton, Tn. and Ginger Hall (Doug) of Pleasant View, Tn.; one son, Lane Owens (Shayla) of Union City; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and one brother, Jackie Dickson (Janice) of Nashville.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
