Mr. James A. Curlin, Jr., 64, of Union City passed away 8:25 p.m. Sunday, March 18, 2018, at Union City Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother David Hagan will officiate. Burial will follow in Fremont Cemetery near Union City.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday.
Pallbearers will be Randall Bruner, Harold Skidmore, Jackie Curlin, Bill Curlin, Dennis Warner and Alan Tidwell.
James was born March 12, 1954, in Union City, son of the late James A. Curlin, Sr. and the late Louise (Chambers) Curlin. He married Carol Adams Curlin February 1, 2002. She survives. James had been employed at the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and was of the Baptist faith.
He is also survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Brooke and Jeremy Edwards of Union City; one son, James A. Curlin, III of Union City; one stepdaughter, Erica Adams of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, Kelsea Adams of Fulton, Kentucky, Jeremy Edwards, Jr. and Elijah Edwards both of Union City and Baylee Curlin of Cookeville; and one sister, Louisia Wooten of Clarksville.
He was also preceded in death by one stepson, J.J. Adams.
