Jackie Ivy's Obituary
Jackie Wayne Ivy, 74, of Union City passed away 7:40 p.m. Monday, August 20, 2018, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Beech Cemetery near Union City. Dr. Bobby Williams will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Jaried Gurien, Jordan Ivy, Jayton Ivy, Ricky Abrigo, Will Hood and Alan Tucker.
There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Jackie was born June 30, 1944, in Lake County, son of the late Glen and Mary Opal (Crouch) Ivy. He married Joyce (Cochran) Ivy November 17, 1967. She survives. Jackie retired from the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Union City and was a member of Beech Cumberland Presbyterian Church where he served as an elder.
He is also survived by his daughter, Rhonda Ivy of Union City; his son and daughter-in-law, Richie and Claudine Ivy of Troy; six grandchildren and the spouses of two, Jarid and Amanda Gurien, Ricky Abrigo and Jordan Ivy all of Union City, Tori and Will Hood of Dickson, and Jayton Ivy and Lauren Ivy both of Troy; one great grandson, Elijah Gurien of Union City; and two sisters, Shirley Ragsdale of Union City and Glenda Criswell of Trenton.
