Obituary

Mr. Charles "Jack" Wilson, 86, of Hornbeak passed away 5:22 a.m. Friday, December 31, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Robert Johnson will officiate.  Burial will follow in Cobbs Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services Tuesday.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Jack was born April 7, 1935, in Wardell, Missouri, son of the late William Adolphus "W.D." and Ola Mae (DePriest) Wilson. He married Dixie Lee (Vaughn) Wilson August 25, 1979. She passed away January 19, 2016. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army for 22 years and was a former pastor and deacon at Southside Baptist Church in Humboldt.

He is survived by three sons, Charlie Wilson (Janet) of Crystal Springs, Florida, John Wilson (Melissa) of Millington and Billy Wilson of Samburg; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and one sister, Kay Scearce of Cayce, Kentucky.

He was also preceded in death by one sister, Irene Goodman; and two brothers, Luther Wilson and Thomas Wilson.
