Jack Douglas Gwaltney, 66, of Union City passed away 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 11, 2022, at his home.

Memorial visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2022.

Jack was born September 16, 1956, in Cairo, Illinois, son of the late Billy Jack and June (Ice) Gwaltney. Jack was a 1974 graduate of Union City High School and was employed as a car salesman at D & S Motors in Dyersburg.

He is survived by one daughter, Brandi Stewart of Martin; one son and daughter-in-law, Justin and Sarah Gwaltney of Obion; five grandchildren, Peyton Gwaltney and Cole Gwaltney both of Union City, Koah Gwaltney of Obion and Kyler Stewart and Kensleigh Stewart both of Martin; his brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Patricia Gwaltney of Troy; and his companion, Sheila Fuzzell of Union City.
