Mrs. Rebecca Irene Andrews, 82, of Union City died 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 22, 2012, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Bishop Street Church of Christ in Union City. Lonnie Grady and Jeff Bell will officiate. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Bishop Street Church of Christ from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Thursday.

Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Guy Walker Gray, Wesley Jackson, Bill Garrett, Kenneth Kemp, Wayne Barber and Kenneth Dodd.

Mrs. Andrews was born March 7, 1930, in Obion County, daughter of the late Mack and Pauline (Parker) Jones. She married James H. Andrews September 20, 1947. He died March 15, 1994. Mrs. Andrews was a member of Bishop Street Church of Christ and had been employed at the former William's Fabrics and the former Maxine's Fashions both in Union City.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael H. and Rena Andrews of Georgetown, Texas and Jamey L. and Cindy Andrews of Union City; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Margaret Gurien of Troy, Nell Puckett of Paducah, Kentucky and Pat and Joe Bradford of Greenville, Alabama; eight grandchildren and the spouses of four, Jonathan and Debra Andrews, Kathryn Andrews, Lacy Andrews and Jacob Andrews all of Georgetown, Texas, Jeremy and Valerie Andrews of Murray, Kentucky, Shane and Shea Andrews and Jessica Andrews all of Union City and Rebecca and Ben Seaton of Savannah; and five great-grandchildren, Woodson Andrews, Kayden Andrews and Beauxman Andrews all of Union City, Emma Andrews of Murray, Kentucky and Natalie Seaton of Savannah.

She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Mack Andrews; and two brothers-in-law, Bollin Puckett and Gene Gurien.
