Hazel Mae Castleman, 89, of Hickman, Kentucky passed away 12:35 a.m. Friday, April 9, 2021, at McKenzie Health & Rehab in McKenzie.

Graveside services will be conducted 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Hickman City Cemetery. Brother Gary Poe will officiate.

Visitation will be held at Hickman City Cemetery from 3:30 p.m. until the hour of services Sunday.

Hazel was born November 28, 1931, in Ridgely, Tennessee, daughter of the late Herman and Lois Scott. She married Joe Castleman June 26, 1948. He preceded her in death February 19, 1994. Hazel was a homemaker and a member of David's Chapel Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, Bobby Castleman of Hickman, Kentucky; three grandsons, Gary Poe (Melanie) of McKenzie, Scott Poe (Carol) of Beaver Dam, Kentucky and David Poe (Susan) of Alvaton, Kentucky; eight great grandchildren, Tara Poe and Caleb Poe both of Kenton, Chanley Rogers of Cummings, Georgia, Lincoln Poe, Shepard Poe and Jack Poe all of Alvaton, Kentucky and Cody Palmer and Matthew Palmer both of Chaffee, Missouri; five great great grandchildren; and three brothers, Bill Scott, Jerry Scott and Tommy Scott all of Chesterton, Indiana.

She was also preceded in death by her daughter, JoAnn Loftin; and three sisters, Margie Troke, Katie Gardner and Sally Brown.
