James Harold White, 78, of Hickman, Kentucky passed away 12:00 p.m. Sunday, August 6, 2023, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Charles Southerland and Brother Billy Crowell will officiate. Burial will follow in Hickman City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m.until the hour of services Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Doyle Wayne White, Tyler White, Daniel White, Jacob Henderson, Chris Kimmons and Aaron Stowe.

Harold was born August 11, 1944, in Tiptonville, son of the late Essary and Ila Mae (Allen) White. He married Kathryn (Stowe) White October 4, 1974. She survives. He had been employed as a high rise window washer in Chicago, Illinois and was a member of Sassafras Ridge Baptist Church.

He is also survived by two sons, Daryl White and wife Sandy of Brookfield, Illinois and Ronnie White and wife Melissa of Hickman, Kentucky; two sisters, Linda Newman and husband David of Olive Branch, Mississippi and Shirley Sapp of Saltillo, Mississippi; one brother, Doyle White and wife Kathy of Saltillo, Mississippi; nine grandchildren; and seventeen great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Pauline Burney and Brenda White; and six brothers, Edward White, Bobby White, Pete White, Jackie White, Carl Lee White and Joe Frank White.
