Obituary

After a long life Hannah Huffstutter Smith died August 6, 2025 at the age of 103. She was a former resident of Hornbeak. Hannah was born November 10, 1921. She was preceded in death by her husband Lemmie Smith; nine siblings and their spouses; and her husband's siblings and their spouses.

She is survived by two daughters, Marlyn Ainsworth (Art) of Knoxville, Tennessee and Linda Adams (late Robert) of Searcy, Arkansas; four granddaughters; and four great grandchildren. Hannah lived her life based on three things that she held dear - God, family and friends. She fought the good fight, finished the race, kept the faith and has now received her reward. Hannah was a member of the Church of Christ.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 16, 2025, in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Kevin Thomason will officiate. Burial will follow in Terrace Hill Cemetery near Troy.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 12:30 p.m. until the hour of services on Saturday.

Pallbearers will be Matt Aytes, Caleb Aytes, Steven Chaney, Josh Daigle, Steve Smith and Ray Huffstutter.
