Gretta (Jones) Barnes, 63, of Trenton passed away 11:52 a.m. Sunday, October 27, 2019, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. She was a former resident of Obion County.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Steve Carr and Brother Greg Smith will officiate. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery in the Crystal community.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday.

Pallbearers will be Cleo Barnes, Tommy Cleek, Daniel Russell, David Williams, Zach Ward and Brian Cash.

Gretta was born April 15, 1956, in Hickman, Kentucky, daughter of the late Jessie and Clara Nell (McQueen) Jones. She married Jimmy Barnes June 1, 1974. He survives. Gretta was employed as the clinic manager for Dr. Samuel Bada at Ultimate Health Clinic in Jackson. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is also survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Debbie Barnes of Milan and Ron and Nikki Barnes of Trenton; one brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Crystal Jones of Obion; and eight grandchildren, Jackson Barnes, Caden Barnes, Jacob McCollum, Chloe Barnes, Halee Flowers and Peyton Flowers all of Trenton, Madison Hughes of Milan, and Emma Coleman of Nashville.
