Greg "Goob" Essary, 57, of Milan passed away 3:58 p.m. Sunday, September 27, 2020, at Regional One Health in Memphis. He was a former resident of Union City.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Melvin Allen will officiate.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday.

Greg was born January 14, 1963, in Milan, son of the late Frank and Margie (Holt) Essary. He had been employed as a carpenter.

He is survived by one daughter, Tiffany Essary of Cincinnati, Ohio; two step daughters, Jamie Wilson and Samantha Hodges both of Harvard, Nebraska; two grandchildren, DeMarii Lee and Malika Jones both of Cincinnati, Ohio; and three sisters, Linda Hopper, Frankie Warmath and Sandra Beard all of Milan.

He was also preceded in death by his companion, Patsy Bing; one sister, Regina McNeely; one brother, Kenneth Perry; and one niece, Jennifer Howard.
