Gregory Lee "Greg" Bryant, 44, of Savannah died Saturday morning, September 27, 2014, in the emergency room at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah. He was a former resident of Ridgely.

Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.

Greg was born March 11, 1970, in Dyersburg, son of Bonnie (Lee) Tippit of Ridgely and the late Jerry Lee Bryant. He was a 1988 graduate of Lake County High School and had served in the United States Navy. Greg had been employed for several years as a riverboat deck hand and most recently as a semi truck driver. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

He is also survived by one daughter, Chloe Grace Bryant of Waynesboro; his companion, Shawna Brooks of Savannah; his companion's children, Jesse Bailey, Cheyenna Milliken and Dallas Milliken all of Savannah; his uncles and aunts, Marshall and Betty Lee of Ridgely and Dale and Doris Price of Peoria, Illinois; and several cousins.

He was also preceded in death by his step father, Eugene Tippit; and his grandparents, Jessie and Geneva Lee.
