Gloria Parker, 82, of Cordova passed away 12:50 p.m. Monday, August 8, 2022, at AHC Union City.

Memorial graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Forest Hill East Cemetery in Memphis.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Humane Society of Memphis & Shelby County, 935 Farm Road, Memphis, Tennessee 38134.

Gloria was born May 19, 1940, in Memphis, daughter of the late Baxter Wilson and the late Virginia (Farley) Roach. She worked in banking for many years in Memphis and retired as branch manager of Regions Bank. She attended Bellevue Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Laurie and John Greenwell of Memphis and Kim and Kevin Miller of Union City; one son, Mike Parker of Union City; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Jane and Dave Herman and Mary Jo Hood all of Memphis; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Kathy Donahoe.
