Glen Spicer,
Jr.
May 31, 1971 – January 11, 2009
Glen was born May 31, 1971, in Coalinga, California, son of Glen Spicer Sr. of Troy and Orfelinda (Perez) Asbille of Hornbeak. He was a member of the Assembly of God and enjoyed drawing, playing pool and riding motorcycles. He was a University of Tennessee Vols fan and a New York Yankee's fan.
Survivors also include his stepfather, John Asbille of Hornbeak, two sisters and his brother-in-law, Melissa and Tim Southerland of Dickson and Lisa Marie Spicer of Mount Sterling, Ky.; his grandmother, Jerry Spicer of Samburg; and five nieces, Kaycee Griffin of Samburg, Nichole Whitson of Hornbeak, Maggie Lynn Hall of Pikeville, Ky., and Isabella Southerland and Zoe Southerland, both of Dickson.
He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, J.T. Spicer and Cosme and Maria Perez; and his great-grandparents, Welzie and Julia Wallace and Elbert and Irene Spicer.
The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and at Samburg Assembly of God from noon until the hour of services on Wednesday.
Pallbearers to serve will be Rick Spicer, Eddie Spicer, Robert Spicer, Tim Spicer, Justin Spicer and Chase Taylor.
