Mr. George Robert Moore, Sr., 78, of Union City passed away 6:15 a.m. Saturday, May 16, 2020, at his home.

There will be no services. Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.

George was born December 1, 1941, in New Madrid, Missouri, son of the late Albert and Wanda (Byerly) Moore. He married Susan (Burkeen) Moore December 13, 1960. She survives. He was the owner of the former G & G Appliance in Union City.

He is also survived by two sons, George Moore (Brandy) of Union City and David Ray Moore (Nikki) of Union City; one daughter, Carol Taylor (Jimmy) of Springville, Tn.; two brothers, Clarence Moore (Marilyn) of Union City and Mike Moore of Union City; two sisters, Linda Moore of Kansas City, Missouri and Paulette Moore of Texas; and four grandchildren, Macayden Cathey, Emma Moore, Eden Moore and David "Bubba" Moore.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmie Moore and Albert Moore; and two sisters, Mary Burden and Louette Moore.
