George was born on June 27, 1965, the son of the late Geraldine (Phipps) Callison and the late Warner Ray Callison, Sr.
He was a 1985 Fulton County High School graduate in Hickman, KY. His departure comes as a great shock and a deep wound, and it is gravely felt by his entire family and countless others who loved him. He was a warrior, friend, encourager, and inspiration to many. He had a love for writing songs and singing. He shared his love for the Lord with others and was of Baptist faith.
He is survived by three brothers: Warner Ray Callison, Jr. (Sheryl), of Martin, Tennessee, Ricky Callison (Billie) of Paris, Tennessee, and Trint Callison (Ginger) of MT. Carmel, Tennessee, and four sisters Candy Hernandez of Trenton, Tennessee, Niki Dobbs (Lee) of Martin, Tennessee, Samantha Callison of Jackson, Tennessee and Kim Rhodes of Union City, Tennessee. He is also survived by nieces and nephews: Audi Day (Matt), Brittany Winston (RJ), Beth Williamson, Ashley Prince (Brandon), Kloye Espinosa, Jazel Espinosa, Megan Cochran (Hunter), Silas Campbell, Jaime Hernandez Jr., Robert Hernandez, and Trint Callison Jr.
He is also survived by many great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. He is also survived by his beloved dog and companion, Lucy.
