Funeral services with full military honors will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Rev. John Quinton will officiate.
The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday.
Mr. Bunch was born October 14, 1932, in Mississippi County, Missouri, son of the late William Aubrey and Rosabelle (Bunch) Bunch. He served his country during the Korean War and the Vietnam War in the United States Navy. He retired from the Navy after twenty seven years of service with the rank of Lieutenant Commander. He had been a member of the Moose Lodge, Veterans of Foreign Wars and was a Mason while living in Florida. He was a member of the American Legion in Fulton, Kentucky and was of the Methodist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Jeannine (Cresson) Bunch of Martin whom he married on December 22, 1997; two daughters, Denise Moon of Orange Park, Florida and Anita Reed of Edgewater, Florida; two sons, Carl Bunch of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Andrew Bunch of Murfreesboro, North Carolina; his stepdaughter, Lesa von Munkwitz-Smith of Coventry, Connecticut; his sister, Hattie Emrich of Columbus, Ohio; six brothers, Dennis Bunch of Mayfield, Kentucky, Wayne Bunch of Pennsylvania; Russell Wade Bunch of Lawton, Oklahoma, Clyde Bunch of South Fulton, Jerry Bunch of New Mexico and Billy Bunch of Lewis Port, Kentucky; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Merideth Bunch.
