Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Samburg Assembly of God . B.J. Cohn and Brother George Hutchison will officiate.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday  at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Memphis with military honors.

The family will receive friends at Samburg Assembly of God from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Alex Anton, Austin Anton, Dillon Anton, Jacob Daniels, Hunter Carter and Steve Anton.

Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Hutchison and Rodney Carter.

Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Anton was born May 24, 1956, in Shelby County, son of Patricia (Quimby) Anton of Walls, Mississippi and the late Frederick Sills Anton. He served in the United States Navy from 1974 to 1982 as a Navy Seal. He was a member of the American Legion and Samburg Assembly of God. He was employed as a maintenance instructor at Tennessee Technological Center in Newbern.

He is also survived by his wife, Sonya (Robey) Anton, whom he married July 2, 1992; three sons, Alex Anton, Austin Anton and Dillon Anton all of the Walnut Log community; his sister, Vicki (Anton) Rivera and his brother, Steve Anton both of Walls, Mississippi.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Cindy (Anton) Judkins; and his brother, George Anton.
