Mr. Gary Joe Wilkerson, 80, of Fulton, Kentucky passed away 4:45 p.m. Saturday, October 27, 2018, at The Waters of Union City.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at West Hickman Baptist Church. Brother Jason Sipes will officiate. Burial will follow in Hickman City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at West Hickman Baptist Church from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday.

Pallbearers will be Pete Whitten, Dan McKinnis, Tony McKinnis, Mike Wilkerson, Garrett Wilkerson and Chris Lattus.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Wilkerson was born August 3, 1938, in Hickman, Kentucky, son of the late Noel and Vassie (Hale) Wilkerson. He married Thelma "Dolly" (Weatherly) Wilkerson September 20, 1960. She survives. Mr. Wilkerson retired from the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company after 23 years of service, was a member of West Hickman Baptist Church and had served in the United States Army.

He is also survived by one son, Tim Wilkerson of Memphis; one sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Lawrence Haney of South Fulton; and one brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Jettie Wilkerson of Hickman, Kentucky.

He was also preceded in death by five sisters, Juanita Whitten, Laverne Grissom, Dorothy McKinnis, Ruth King and Donna Lattus; and three brothers, Howard Wilkerson, James Baker Wilkerson and Richard Wilkerson.
