Gary Whiteman's Obituary
Mr. Gary Kevin Whiteman, 59, of Tiptonville died suddenly Sunday night, April 27, 2014, at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia, South Carolina.
Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church in Tiptonville. Rev. Marita Burkeen will officiate.
The family will receive friends at First United Methodist Church in Tiptonville from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of services Friday.
Mr. Whiteman was born April 11, 1955, in Stockton, California, son of the late Robert Leroy and Jennie Lou (Rushing) Whiteman. He was employed as a truck driver for
Marten Transport. Gary had served in the National Guard in Kuwait. He was the widower of Peggy Ann Whiteman.
He is survived by finacee, Deborah Burkett of Tiptonville; two sons, Kevin Whiteman and Michael Whiteman both of Grover Beach, California; two grandchildren; his fiancee's children, Mistie Jeffrey and Michael Hayes both of Tiptonville; two half brothers; and two half sisters.
