April 9, 1955 – September 11, 2021
Mr. Gary Maurice Quinn, Sr., 66, of South Fulton went home to be with the Lord 12:46 a.m. Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home Chapel. Brother Jerry King and Brother Robert Taylor, Jr. will officiate. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Marcell Ingram, Donnie Johnson, Richard Elam, Royce Akers, Burl Ervin and Charles Roberson.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday.
The family asked that masks be worn during visitation and funeral.
Gary was born April 9, 1955, in Union City, son of the late Thomas Quinn, Jr. and Vernice (Sparks) Quinn. He married Saundra A. (Harris) Quinn May 27, 1995. She survives. Gary has been a deacon since 2006 at True Gospel Baptist Church where he was also a bus driver, retired member of the Army National Guard in Union City, was a school bus driver for the Obion County School System and retired from the former Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company.
He also loved fishing, gardening, riding motorcycles and his Dallas Cowboys.
He is also survived by four sons, Quincy Lewis (Christy) of Bradford, Roderick Quinn (Kimberly) of South Fulton, Gary Quinn, Jr. (Kelsey Lannom) of Fulton, Kentucky and Zachary "Alex" Quinn of Clarksville; four daughters, Tarisha Quinn of Ripley, Venise Quinn, Nevaeh Quinn and Ay'Jiona Quinn all of South Fulton; three brothers, James Quinn (Martha) of Louisville, Kentucky, Lloyd Neal (Barbara) of Olive Branch, Mississippi and Marshall Quinn (Melanie Holder) of Union City; and four sisters, Dorothy Warsaw of Indianapolis, Indiana, Elise Tucker (David) of Indianapolis, Indiana, Pamela Harrell (Rodney) of Union City and Cynthia Quinn of Jackson.
He was also preceded in death by his nephew, Tremayne Quinn.
