Gary Wayne Morris, 62, of Union City passed away 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 26, 2014, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Rev. Terry Presson will officiate. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Tuesday.

Pallbearers will be Bob McNeill, Mike Emberton, Jackie Curlin, Eric Henderson, Richard Miller and Kelvin Presson.

Gary was born December 28, 1951, in Hickman, Kentucky, son of Wilma (Presson) Morris of Union City and the late James A. "Bill" Morris. He had been employed at the former Reelfoot Packing Company, the former Dura Automotive and at Lowe's in Union City. He had served in the Tennessee National Guard and was a member of Crosswind Church.

He is also survived by one son, Jeremy Morris of Union City; one daughter, Laura Elizabeth Bailey and her husband Justin of Union City; five grandchildren, Andrew Morris Easley, Keelan Reed Hughey, Morgan Javanna Fraley, Piper Rives Fraley and Andie Lee Fraley all of Union City; one sister, Linda Jernigan and her husband Tom of Union City; and three brothers, Ronnie Morris and his wife Kathy of Cookeville, and Donnie Morris and his wife Glenda and David Morris and his wife Carol all of Union City.
