May 31, 1952 – July 6, 2022
Mr. Garry Lee Moran, Sr., 70, of Mayfield, Kentucky and formerly of Gibson County passed away 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at his home.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Obion County Memorial Gardens. Brother Rick Roberts will officiate.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Saturday.
Pallbearers will be Bill Wade, Adam Wade, James Gibson and Daniel Barnett.
Mr. Moran was born May 31, 1952, in Sikeston, Missouri, son of the late Leonard and Peggy Victoria (Davis) Moran. He married Ruby Nell (Goff) Moran March 15, 1971. She passed away September 1, 2015. He worked for World Color Press as a lead bindery operator and was a U.S. Army veteran stationed at the DMZ in Korea during the Vietnam war.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Garry Lee Moran, Jr. and Linda Moran of Troy; four step grandchildren; nine step great grandchildren; two brothers, Keith Moran of South Fulton and Brian Moran of Mayfield, Kentucky; two sisters, Sherry Dunn (Dennis) of West Plains, Missouri and Teresa Wade (Bill) of Mayfield, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by one son, Jeremy Lee Moran; one daughter, Angela Renee Moran; two brothers, Howard Lynn Moran and Steven Moran; and his nephew, Jason Dunn.
