Teresa Gail Brown, 67, of Kenton passed away 6:00 a.m. Monday, April 22, 2024, at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Samburg Assembly of God. Brother Ron Costello will officiate. Burial will follow in Cobbs Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Samburg Assembly of God from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Carr, Zach Dunn, James Smith, Kyle Homra, Kevin Hutcheson and Mackey Hutcheson.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Gail was born September 13, 1956, in Dyersburg, daughter of the late Jerry and Peggy Laverne (Hood) Smyth. She married Jeff Brown April 21, 2006. Gail had been employed as office manager for Long Block & Brick in Union City and retired from the Obion County Nursing Home. She was a member of Harris Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Jeff Brown of Kenton; two sons, Ricky Pugh and wife Jessica of Union City and Jon Johnson of Dyersburg; two daughters, Madison Dunn and husband Zach of Mayfield, Kentucky and Savanna Carr and husband Matthew of Water Valley, Kentucky; two sisters, Suzie Stover of Obion and Debbie Maddox and husband David of Union City; one brother, Butch Smyth and wife Reba of Atkins, Arkansas; and eleven grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Larry Smyth.
