Franklin Moffitt's Obituary
Franklin Eugene Moffitt, 75, of Mayfield, Kentucky passed away 12:40 p.m. Friday, August 31, 2018, at Baptist Health Paducah. He was a former resident of Hickman, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Mike Brown will officiate. Burial will follow in Hickman City Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services Monday.
Family members will serve as pallbearers.
Franklin was born June 6, 1943, in Tiptonville, son of the late Thomas Frank and Mary Noveline (Tynes) Moffitt. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by two sisters, Betty Williams Poyner of Hickman, Kentucky and Brenda Whitt of Union City; four nieces and two nephews.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Mary Lou Moffitt; and two brothers, Jerry Moffitt and Terry Moffitt.
